We apologize for any incovencience and thank you for your pateince while we begrudgingly attempt to exit the 1990's and acheive a functioning (and at least an early 2000's era) website!
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in original condition and in original packaging with tags. Non-returnable items include, but are not limited to: gift cards, Chalk Paint® products/accessories, light bulbs, hand sanitizer, and any discounted/sale items. Additional items may be deemed non-returnable at the discretion of management. To start your return, we require an email requesting a return authorization. Once approved, items can be mailed back or returned in person to one of our retail stores.
To return your product after you have received a return authorization, you should mail your products to: The Tree House, 701 S. Capital of Texas Hwy #D480, Austin, TX, 78746, United States. In most cases, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs up front for returns (and shipping costs are typically non-refundable). If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returned items lost in transit by FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Store credit will be issued for approved returns received after the 3 week deadline.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged when received. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com with pictures of the item and the condition of the packaging. We may need you to return the damaged item to: 701 S. Capital of Texas Hwy #D480, Austin, TX, 78746, United States. The time it will take for your exchanged product to reach you will vary.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, the gift certificate will be sent to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, the refund will be issued to the original form of payment (i.e. gift giver), so he/she would find out about your return.
